Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a great location for walks, with a big bathroom in the rooms and good service from the staff. However, the dining experience had some issues with the toast order, and there were no towel hanging options in the room.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, perfect for walks in the Highlands and near local attractions. The rooms are beautifully renovated and very comfortable for a family of six, with a cozy sofa to relax on. However, the dining experience lacks variety in breakfast options. The service is attentive, and the homemade bread is a delightful touch. The price is reasonable considering the value provided.
The hotel had a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were not cleaned to a satisfactory standard which was disappointing, but the good water pressure in the bath and the comfort of the renovated room for six persons with a relaxing sofa were highlights. Location wise, the hotel is situated in an ideal area for walks and close to the activities we had booked, but the proximity to the dual carriageway and noise from the TV in the local restaurant impacted the overall experience. The dining experience included homemade products, but there was an issue with missing toast and the difficulty in conversation due to the loud football on TV. Facilities were satisfactory, but it's worth noting the cold options and marinated fish in the menu. The hotel offered good value for money considering the services provided.
The hotel is located in a great spot, perfect for nature lovers wanting to explore the enchanted forest and nearby mountains. The rooms are cozy with a nice double bed, but cleanliness could be improved. The service is friendly and welcoming, with housekeeping always on hand if you need anything. The dining options provide a good mix of cold and hot dishes, though sourdough bread lovers might be disappointed. The overall value for money is decent, considering the prime location and amenities offered.
The hotel has very nicely renovated and comfortable rooms suitable for six persons with a sofa to relax, but I found some cleanliness issues with glasses stuck to the wooden table. The big bathroom was a plus for added comfort.
